GROUND RULES

RIGHT OF USE (1,2,3)

1. Only active Members of the Group have the right to use the AOAF facilities. Active Members of the AOAF shall be:
α) Adults who have paid their registration fee and are solvent. Members who have paid their membership fees and have paid at least the membership fee for the current quarter or the current year (in time, within the respective 1st fifteen days) are considered to be in good standing.
b) Minors (under 18 years of age) who have paid the registration fee for AOAF schools, are students of the schools in the current term and have no outstanding arrears of the respective fees.

2. Use of the fields, both dirt and synthetic, is provided through electronic booking. The rules for electronic booking are an appendix to these regulations, they are also posted on the Club's website (www.aoaf.gr) and are available to Members through the Club's Secretariat.

3. Any Member wishing to practice on the courts must arrive with his/her teammate(s) at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled practice time and all must report in person to the AOAF Secretariat. Their entry to the practice field will only be made after the relevant announcement by the Secretariat. It is noted that Members must remain within the AOAF premises from the moment they register their presence with the Secretariat until the announcement of their exercise.

HOW TO ENTER THE GROUNDS (4,5)

4. Members to be exercised on courts No. 1, 2 and 3 shall enter through the main door after the announcement by the Secretariat. Members who are to practice on court No 4 shall enter through the 1st entrance (outside). It is underlined that the sporting code of tennis strictly dictates that no one should enter (e.g. to catch his ball) or cross another court (e.g. to go to his own court) at the moment when a competitive activity (warm-up or match) is in progress, he must wait for the athletes to interrupt their game and then enter or cross.

5. Members shall maintain the courts before beginning their exercise.

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW (6,7,8,9)

6. If the exercise time on a court is completed and either there is no reservation for the next slot, or the next exercisers have not yet arrived, exercisers may continue their exercise if they wish until the next exercisers arrive. The departure of practicing Members from the court must take place immediately after the announcement of the secretary, without any delay for the completion of a point, game or tie break, since due to the electronic booking system no time allowance can be given but slots must be strictly observed.

7. Members are prohibited from practicing a second time within the same day, particularly between 17:00 - 21:30. However, they are given the opportunity to request the use of a court from the Secretariat, which has the authority to grant their request if it considers that there is sufficient availability of courts.

8. Members have the option to reserve a pitch for a non-Member (guest) practice. This reservation can only be made through the Secretariat and not through the online application. It is only permitted on certain days and times only and has a financial cost. The above is set out by the AOAF Board of Directors and is an annex to these regulations. Guests are required prior to their exercise - either themselves or the Members who invited them - to provide their details to the Secretariat and pay the cost of their exercise in advance. It should be noted that only adults may hold the status of guest.

9. Minor Members (under 18 years old) of AOAF:
α) (a) Members of AOAF shall not be entitled to exercise on the dirt courts (except as part of a training session with an AOAF school coach).
b) They have the right to electronically reserve a pitch only through the Secretariat on pitches 7,8,9 and 10.
c) They have the option to train either with another active AOAF Schools Member or with an adult active AOAF Member.
In either case, the practice may not take place on the dirt courts.
